The Williamsport Flute Choir was founded January 2013 with a group of eight area flutists. Over sixe years later, we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that presents a minimum of three performances a year, and has truly earned its positive reputation in the Williamsport area as a quality performing ensemble.
Our ensemble is open to area flutists at the discretion of the director. Our current fearless leader is Dr. Richard Coulter. Rick is retired from the Williamsport School District where he was the district supervisor, and is the current director of the Billtown Brass.
The Williamsport Flute Choir consists of four voices in the flute family: piccolo, c flute, alto, and bass. We hope to add a contrabass to our choir eventually! Anyone who is interested in joining us can check our rehearsal schedule under the News and Announcements tab, and contact us through our website or social media pages.
